Great idea. The problem is my dog chewed it off the first day. I have an English Mastiff. It fit her perfect, but didn’t make it one whole day. Needs to be stronger material. Actually would have to be very strong to stop most dogs from chewing through.

Updating my review. The vest fits very well and it’s excellent quality. My dog seemed very comfortable in it when we tried it for size.

My puppy has hip dysplasia and his walking posture has gotten worse recently. He had difficulty walking and walked in a strange way. My dog has a very active life and is full of joy. When taking him on long walks his hips got worse over time and he is now 10 years old. He is a brown labrador and the cutest being i have ever met. We were struggling alot on the decision if we should get surgery for him. The vet actually told us that there is a possibility that he doesnt completely heal from it. This is a great product. I use it for an 11-year -old, 100 lb Akita who is losing mobility in his old age. Hello from Oregon! Want to thank you for our recent order for bi-lateral leg braces and hip brace for our 5 year old, long and low, 50 lb male (he/him) Glen Terrier. The leg braces just didn’t fit his unique shape but the hip brace seems to be working well for him. I got this knee brace for Dakota my Jack Rusell. Dakota is 14 years old, and she is currently dealing with some arthritis issues. During Dakota’s young life she has always been very active and talkative, anyone who has or ever had a Jack Russell knows what I am talking about because this breed is very energetic. I have an older dog over 14 years old who is currently unable to walk properly due to health issues. It also bothered him that it would branch out when he walked, but we later purchased this. It no longer has split legs when walking, and its walking posture is much more normal. I also took a photo to hopefully help future buyers.

It is difficult to have a sick dog. But it is more freightening when your in the middle of nowhere and can not lift him. My 8 Year Golden Retriever weighs 105lbs, and he has Cancer. It is in his leg, and we have feared something happening to his leg. Well it did. Luckily we purchased this sling as a contingency plan. My wife and I were able to apply it to him and use the tandem application with one of us on each side with a shoulder strap and a handle. We were able to carry him out of the home. He seemed calm that we had him securely in the sling and in good hands. This is well worth the investment. Better to have it.

I had to have a limb amputated on my dog. She couldn't climb stairs after surgery. This harness is a lifesaver for her. It snaps on quickly and is sturdy and comfortable to use the shoulder strap to carry our 55 lb dog up stairs.

My hound dog is 15 years old now, and unfortunately, he has developed the spine and arthritis problems that come with old age, which have affected the usage of his back legs. We use a wheelchair for longer walks, but this brace definitely helps with quick trips out to his PT or to a friends house to say hello without having to worry about a bulky wheelchair.

This year, heavy rains caused a flood and the entire first floor was underwater. My dog is paralyzed, and cannot stand or walk unaided. Luckily I had purchased one of these to help her up and downstairs, and I was able to get her up to the second floor. It's awkward to balance and takes some effort and cooperation from the dog, but in situations like we had, I was extremely glad to have one!

My Labrador was diagnosed with double hip dysplasia over a year ago. We managed that with supplements, but then she blew out her knee in February. At 8.5 years the vets deemed her inoperable.
